Bret Boone | Bob Boone’s Son

Bret Boone is a former professional baseball player who played the second baseman in the MLB. He was among the stars of the league, and he will be best remembered for his time with the Seattle Mariners. Although he did play for other teams, his career accomplishments are something any baseball fan can be proud of. He was a two-time Silver Slugger Award winner, a three-time All-Star, and a four-time Gold Glove Winner. However, to his family, they will always be proud that he was the first third-generation big-leaguer in baseball.

His father is Bob Boone, who played in the MLB from 1972 until 1990. Bob is also credited for winning the World Series Championship with the Phillies and later became the manager of Cincinnati Reds and Kansas Royals. Bret’s grandfather, Ray Boone, was also a former MLB player and a two-time All-American League All-Star.
