Finally finishing his studies with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, he landed his NBA debut with the New Jersey Nets.

Throughout his 13-season run in the NFL, Archie made quite a name for himself. Nowadays, while still involved in the sport to some extent, he runs a football-themed restaurant appropriately called Manning’s. Meanwhile, the elder of the sibling duo, Eli, garnered recognition for his work as a quarterback, not to mention leading the New York Giants to two Super Bowl victories. His younger brother Peyton is also a two-time Super Bowl winner, plus a five-time recipient of the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award. Although this family trio has since retired from the sport, there’s no denying their achievements will always be remembered by many.

Athlete Anna Kournikova had recently celebrated her daughter Mary’s second birthday. Matthew Tkachuk has inherited his brilliance in hockey from his father, Keith Tkachuk, who belongs to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame. The older Tkachuk has played over 18 seasons in the league. His other son, Brady, was the fourth pick in the 2018 National Hockey League Draft. Having a family with immense skills in the sport, it wouldn’t be a surprise that Matthew would dominate the league.

Matthew’s degree of athleticism has been felt in the USHL for two seasons when he played for USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program from 2013 to 2015. His most stellar season was in 2018-2019, with more than 30 goals and over 77 points with the Flames in the Pacific Division.

Moisés Alou | Felipe Alou’s Son

Moisés Alou is one of the most recognized baseball athletes in the world. With his high degree of knowledge and athleticism, he has set out to be a 6-time Major League Baseball All-star in addition to dominating the 1997 World Series Championship playing for the Florida Marlins. What sets apart Moisés from his contemporaries is his preference of not using batting gloves. He also joked that he would use his hands as a urinal to strengthen them.

With his football skills polished and improved throughout his school years, John Bosa finally landed a spot in the NFL in 1987, debuting with the Miami Dolphins and staying with the team for the rest of his three-season tenure. Now, although his run in the sport may be considered short by many, who’s to say it didn’t inspire anyone?

Well, as it turns out, it sure looks like papa Bosa’s time on the field did motivate some people to follow suit. Two of them are his kids, Joey Bosa and his younger brother Nick Bosa. This father-sons trio now takes credit for being the second family of footballers to be drafted in the NFL during the first round. Joey, who plays for the San Diego Chargers, is regarded as one of the NFL’s best pass rushers, while Nick received the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year title in 2019.

Klay Thompson | Mychal Thompson’s Son

With an impressive run as a college basketball player, it’s no surprise Mychal Thompson eventually found his way into the NBA. Debuting as a player for the Portland Trail Blazers in 1978, he played for fourteen years in the sport, lending his skills to teams such as the previously-mentioned Blazers, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the San Antonio Spurs.

Although he has already bid farewell to the basketball court, it’s safe to say papa Thompson is now more than proud of his son Klay Thompson. Beginning his NBA career in 2011, after getting drafted in the first round by the Golden State Warriors, Klay’s popularity from there on out only soared to even higher degrees. Klay is regarded as an efficient shooter and a reliable defensive player, with his technique often cited as “picture-perfect.” The shooting guard recently returned after an injury and shows no signs of stopping just yet.

Prince Fielder | Cecil Fielder’s Son

To this day, Prince Fielder is the youngest baseball player in the history of the National League to have hit over 50 home runs in one season. To add, he has played in the Major League Baseball All-star Game not just once, or twice, but six times. Prince also played as a first baseman and designated hitter for three different teams: the Milwaukee Brewers, Detroit Tigers, and Texas Rangers. He debuted in the sport back in 2002 for the Brewers and spent seven years with them before transitioning with the Tigers in 2012. Apart from establishing a high degree of greatness, Prince is the son of former professional baseball player Cecil Fielder who had a stellar career in the ’80s and ’90s. He was the first player to achieve 50 home runs since Foster in 1977.

Randy Orton | Bob Orton Jr.’s Son

As a wrestling fan, it would be impossible not to recognize the famous Randy Orton, who has won the World Wrestling Entertainment championship more than 16 times in addition to dominating gruesome matches such as the Royal Rumble. Making his earliest appearance in 2000, he also signed with the World Wrestling Federation just a year later. Randy pioneered the moves such as the Corner clothesline, Diving crossbody, and gutwrench elevated neck breaker, among others. He also takes credit for being the youngest WWE champion when he dominated the World Heavyweight Championship at 24 years old. Outside of the ring, Randy has appeared in the films 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded, The Condemned II, and the TV show Shooter.

In case you’re wondering, he is the son of semi-retired wrestler Bob Orton Jr., whose stellar career is known in the World Wrestling Federation.

Thaddeus Moss | Randy Moss’ Son

Thaddeus Moss is among the promising players of the National Football league; he plays as a tight end for the Cincinnati Bengals. Before he went pro, Thaddeus used to play college football for the NC State Wolfpack. Eventually, he transferred to the LSU Tigers, where he takes credit for two unrivaled touchdowns in the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship. Unfortunately, he remained an undrafted free agent with the Washington Football Team because of an injury. It is worth noting that Thaddeus is the successor of Hall of Famer wide receiver Randy Moss.

His dad Randy played for 14 seasons and is hailed as the greatest wide receiver that has played the sport. Randy also holds the record for single-season touchdown reception and is number two on the NFL’s all-time regular season touchdowns.

Tom Ince | Paul Ince’s Son

Born Thomas Christopher Ince, Tom Ince is one of the most versatile football players. He can play various positions—attacking midfielder, winger, or forward—with finesse and excels in each. Tom debuted with Liverpool back in the 2010-2011 season as a substitute player in the League Cup. As his contract ended, he moved to Blackpool and scored over 33 goals. In 2013, for his high degree of skills, he was awarded the 2013 Football League Young Player of the Year and belonged to the 2012–13 PFA Team of the Year. Since then, he improved his skills and went on to sign a £4.75 million deal with Derby County and Stoke City afterward for £10 million.

Tom’s father, Paul Ince, is one of the most recognized players as well. He played midfield for over three decades and also went on to manage teams such as the Blackburn Rovers and Macclesfield Town.

William Nylander | Michael Nylander’s Son

William Nylander is a Canadian with Swedish roots who plays professional ice hockey for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League. As a right winger, he debuted in the first round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. William also competed in the 2009 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament as part of the New York Rangers minor ice hockey team. Four years later, he played together with his father, Michael Nylander, with Södertälje SK. William became one of the most praised athletes because of his brilliant offensive skills and puck handling. He takes credit for several awards, which include Rookie of the Month, IHF World Championship MVP, and IIHF World Championship leading scorer, among others.

One of the persons behind William’s success is none other than his father, who was also a professional hockey player who represented Sweden in the Winter Olympics two times.

Zaire Wade | Dwayne Wade’s Son

Dwayne Wade is undeniably one of the most successful NBA players. During his time playing for Miami Heat, he led the team to three Championship Titles, bagging the MVP title in 2006 and becoming the most successful player to have ever played for the team. In addition, he was a 13-time NBA All-Star and an 8-time member of the All-NBA Team.
