Christopher Lloyd | Born 1938
Christopher Lloyd is one of the most outstanding character performers of all time. His combination of charisma and mania produced his particular pantheon of iconic cinematic characters. You can’t even picture someone else attempting to play that role after his credit in Back to the Future.
However, we last saw Lloyd in the mid-1990s. He transitioned from being an A-lister at the height of his career to essentially going away. Don’t worry! He wasn’t transported to the Wild West or disintegrated in a plunge. If you look at his career, you’ll notice that he is still actively working, and the reason we don’t see him in any big-budget movies is because he isn’t at all choosy. He is still highly interested in “doing acting” as much as he can, even though he doesn’t appear to care much about “being an actor” in the same sense.
