Glynis Johns is a retired actress, singer, dancer, and musician. With a career that spanned eight decades, she has been credited as a film and Broadway icon. Overall, she has appeared in more than 60 movies and 30 plays. She is a recipient of awards and nominations in several drama award denominations like the Academy Awards, National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, Golden Globe Awards, Tony Awards, Laurel Awards, Laurence Olivier Awards, and Drama Desk Awards. She won two-thirds of all the award nominations she had.
In 2016, when Zsa Zsa Gabor passed away, Johns became the oldest surviving Batman cast member. When Olivia de Havilland passed away back in 2020, she became the longest-surviving and oldest-living Academy Award nominee in any acting category. Johns is currently the oldest and longest-surviving Disney Legend.
