Retired American actress Gena Rowlands has a long seven decades career on film, television, and stage. She is well known for her collaborations with her late husband, actor-director John Cassavetes, in ten films, including Gloria and A Woman Under the Influence, which earned her nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actress. She is also known for her performances in movies like Another Woman, Hysterical Blindness, The Incredible Mrs. Ritchie, The Skeleton Key, and The Notebook.
