Dolores Hart | Born 1938
Dolores Hart is the only child of actor Bert Hicks and Harriet Hicks. Her parents asked for the help of their lawyer when she was only three years when they both decided that it would be best if they went their separate ways. She was a prominent actress and had a booming career from 1957 to 1963. Her debut movie, Loving You, was where she starred as the love interest of Elvis Presley. In just five years, she was able to make ten films such as King Creole, Wild Is The Wind, and Where the Boys Are.
In the early ‘60s, Hart announced that she would leave her life as an actress to enter the Abbey of Regina Laudis monastery. Moreover, a documentary film about her life entitled God Is the Bigger Elvis was nominated for the 2012 Academy Award for Best Documentary (Short Subject).
