Dick Van Dyke | Born 1925
American actor, comedian, and entertainer Dick Van Dyke has a long seven decades of film, television, and stage career. He started as an entertainer on television and radio, in nightclubs, and even on the Broadway stage. He starred in the original production of Bye Bye Birdie, where he won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. He then became part of the television sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show, which made him a household name.
His investment in the entertainment industry has earned him the SAG Life Achievement Award, the Screen Actors Guild’s highest honor. Van Dyke also received five Primetime Emmys, a Tony, a Golden Globe, and a Grammy Award. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was honored with the Kennedy Center Honors in 2021.
