Tenley Albright | Born 1935

Tenley Albright is a former figure skater who became the Olympic Champion in 1956. She was also the Olympic silver medalist in 1952, World Champion and North American Champion in 1953 and 1955, and U.S. national champion from 1952-1956. Not only that. She is also a graduate of Harvard Medical School and pursued her career as a surgeon.

Albright was first married to Tudor Gardiner, who is a lawyer. Their marriage lasted for 14 years. In 1981, she married the former hotel Ritz-Carlton hotel owner Gerald Blakeley, who died on July 2, 2021. In terms of her medical career, she was able to practice in the field for 23 years. She became a faculty member and lecturer at Harvard Medical School. Currently, she is the Director of the MIT Collaborative Initiatives.
