He’s been one of the most incredible actors ever appearing in cinema for almost 50 years. Billy Dee Williams is regarded as the epitome of cosmic style as Lando Calrissian, the dapper, cape-wearing hero of the Star Wars universe. However, he is also a successful actor and artist outside the sci-fi series that has enthralled generations.

Williams appeared in 1989’s Batman in a reasonably modest part with only a few lines. While it may have seemed strange that a star of his caliber would have such a minor role, it makes more sense when considering the role was that of District Attorney Harvey Dent. His supporting role in The Empire Strikes Back allowed him to showcase his talent in space. He continued working on Interstellar with a regular part on Dynasty. Over the next 20 years, he remained active, but most of his work consisted of cameo roles or little ventures.
