One of the issues that surround the entertainment industry is the proliferation of paparazzi. In outsmarting security measures, using top-of-the line lenses from afar, and even constant violation of restraining orders, these paparazzi’s high degree of pushing limits every time has gone too far.

Celebrities have continued to express distaste for these people because, aside from them, their kids, and even their parents, cannot do the simplest of things without being followed. The necessities of everyday life have included escaping the lenses of the paparazzi

It is worth noting that, like most of us, celebrities have lives separate from their line of work. Here are some of the brilliant ways celebrities have evaded the paparazzi.

1. Leonardo DiCaprio

Inception actor Leonardo DiCaprio uses anything he can get his hands on to block his face. In these images, he is seen covering his face with a fedora. In another instance, he uses a black umbrella to hide his face.

DiCaprio is best known for his credits in movies such as This Boy’s Life, Titanic, and The Man in the Iron Mask among others. His performance in Titanic established his reputation as among Hollywood’s top-tier actors.

2. Ryan Gosling

In this snapshot, Gosling has turned an uncomfortable lunch into a children’s game! When a bunch of paparazzi were on the loose to capture a few snaps of him having lunch on his own, Gosling decided not to let them get away easily. It’s obvious that he is annoyed but not to the extent that it would bring him bad publicity.

Gosling is most famous for appearing in the film The Notebook. His credits in subsequent movies such as Half Nelson and Lars and the Real Girl has secured him numerous awards nods.

3. Britney Spears

Back in October 2004, when pop sensation Britney Spears was having a serene afternoon sipping her drinks as she left Subway, a couple of paparazzi were trailing her. Perhaps irritated when they invaded her personal space, Spears, while holding a couple of drinks, shoved the contents at them.

Spears is one of the singers who revolutionized pop music. At a relatively young age, she had already received credits in the show The Mickey Mouse Club. Subsequently, her talent was noticed by numerous agents. Her debut album …Baby One More Time propelled her to be the most successful teenage artist in the world.

4. Mark Wahlberg

In almost every day of their lives, their movements are chronicled without any degree of permission. When the going gets rough, they decide to play the reverse card. Here are Mark Wahlberg and his friends intimidating the paparazzi in his own game.

Before he became one of the most sought-out actors in the industry, Wahlberg used to be lead singer of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch; their track, Good Vibration, reached the top spot in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He then made his debut as an actor in the movie The Substitute and went on to be a staple face in the action movies scene.

5. Dustin Hoffman

It goes without saying that a huge number of celebrities despise paparazzi. However, two-time Academy Award winning actor Dustin Hoffman seems to have mastered the art of thriving despite their constant degree of nagging. In this image, we can see the actor displaying hide-and-seek antics with the paparazzi. He seems to be doing it not out of spite but out of pure entertainment.

Before becoming one of the most renowned actors, Hoffman used to struggle as an actor and starred in a few low-budget productions. He even admitted to being bankrupt until he reached 31 years old. However, his breakthrough came when he was casted in the movie The Graduate, which established his stellar reputation as an artist.
