2. Clint Eastwood in A Fistful of Dollars
Clint Eastwood didn’t have much guidance when he started in the industry. He had to work odd jobs, such as a paper carrier, lifeguard, and grocery clerk, before he would become one of the most respected talents in Hollywood. Due to his laid-back personality, the young Eastwood was terminated from his job as a second unit on The Last Days of Sodom and Gomorrah, a 1962 film. Born Alfred James Pacino, he had a stellar acting career that lasted more than five decades. As one of the most recognized method actors, Pacino was mentored by Charlie Laughton and Lee Strasberg. He made his debut in the film industry in the movie Me, Natalie when he was about to turn 30 years old. However, his name is greatly synonymous with Michael Corleone in Copolla’s The Godfather franchise, where his degree of acting secured him Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor. Dustin Hoffman started his acting career by starring in low-budget productions; he had even proclaimed being bankrupt until he turned 31 years old.
